The States of Guernsey has approved plans to develop the Little Chapel

Plans for new toilets, a gazebo as well as pathways and signage have been approved at the Little Chapel in Guernsey.

The chapel, owned by The Little Chapel Charitable Foundation, said on its website the full restoration would cost about £500,000 along with plans to carry out landscaping, as well as lighting and cameras.

The planning application was submitted on 31 December 2025, and following a consultation process, it was approved by the States of Guernsey on Thursday.

The Little Chapel is run by a "small, dedicated team of volunteers" and receives no financial support from the States of Guernsey nor from any of the island churches, its website added.
