The closures are part of the phased completion of all works for the A63 Castle Street scheme, National Highways says

National Highways has announced further overnight closures on the A63 in Hull.

The agency said the closures were part of the phased completion of all works for the £355m Castle Street scheme.

The project was originally due to be finished by April 2025, but was delayed by a year due to "extremely challenging ground conditions".

A new underpass opened to traffic last week, six years after work began.

The road will be closed in both directions overnight from 20:00 to 06:00 BST from Monday 30 March to Wednesday 1 April, Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April, Monday 13 to Friday 17 April, Monday 20 to Friday 24 April and Monday 27 to Wednesday 29 April.

An overnight closure for westbound traffic on Friday 27 March has been delayed to 22:30 to allow for Hull KR rugby traffic, and again on Thursday 30 April.
