Man seriously injured after being shot at in car

A man has been seriously injured after he was shot at in his car by suspects in another vehicle.

West Yorkshire Police said the incident happened on Park Road, near Valley Mills, in Elland, at around 20:40 BST on Thursday.

The force said that after the victim and his vehicle were shot at, he then drove himself to hospital and was treated for shotgun pellet and knife injures, which are not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to get in touch with police.
