Corran Ferry car services resume following day of disruption
Getty ImagesCar ferry services on a Highland Council-run route have resumed a day after being suspended following an engineer's inspection.
The five-minute Corran Ferry crossing of Loch Linnhe links the wider Lochaber area with communities in the Ardgour peninsula in the west.
On Saturday the local authority said the Maid of Glencoul required a replacement part and warned it could be "several days" before services returned to normal.
But on Sunday it confirmed the part had been sourced, fitted and successfully tested.
In December the service was hit by three days of disruption after a steering fault was detected on the ferry.
