Is it a bad idea to swim right after eating?
You might have heard the warnings: if you took a dip right after having a meal, you could get a cramp or a stitch. We check how much of a real risk it is.
It was a childhood nightmare - having to wait for an hour after lunch tbefore swimming, out of a fear of getting a cramp or a stitch that could make you unable to swim.
