Watch: Shopkeeper fights off robbery attempt with milk crate
CCTV footage shows the moment a shopkeeper was forced to defend himself with a plastic milk crate while being threatened with a knife.
Jessie Thompson and Bethan John have both been jailed after the attempted robbery at a shop in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, on 11 July.
The shopkeeper can be seen using the crate, taken from behind the counter, to hit back at the defendants after one of the pair threatened him with the weapon.
Thompson, 31, has been jailed for three years and four months for attempted robbery and possession of a knife, while John, 25, has been jailed for three years.
