Oxford man pleads not guilty after stabbing near mosque

GoogleA man has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder following a stabbing that left a man with serious injuries.
Thames Valley Police said the victim, aged in his 40s, was assaulted in Manzil Way, Oxford, on 13 March.
Hassan Hussain, 24, of Nye Bevan Close, also pleaded not guilty to having an imitation firearm and a knife.
The attack happened close to Central Oxford Mosque but Thames Valley Police previously said they were not treating it as a hate crime.
Hussain has been remanded in custody.
A trial date has been set for 19 August at Oxford Crown Court.
