Oxford woman denies murder over body found in river

A woman has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man who was found dead in a river.

The body of Jorge Carreno, 30, was pulled from the River Cherwell at Parson's Pleasure in Oxford on 26 July 2021.

Scarlet Blake, 25, of Crotch Crescent, previously known as Alice Wang, also denied a charge of theft.

She was remanded in custody to appear for trial at Oxford Crown Court on 5 February.
