Man, 19, killed after car leaves road near Desborough

A 19-year-old man has died after his car left the road in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The accident happened on Harborough Road near Desborough, Northamptonshire, shortly after 02:30 GMT.

Northamptonshire Police said it did not know why the man's blue Suzuki Swift left the carriageway and came to a stop on the grassed area outside the Travel Plaza Hotel.

The force has appealed for witnesses.
