Ryanair is to start flying to destinations from Norwich International Airport from next year.

The budget airline will run services to Malta, Faro in Portugal and Alicante in Spain, according to an aviation analyst.

Ryanair would not confirm the destinations, but said it would reveal more details on Wednesday.

It is the first time the carrier has operated from Norwich.

It already operates from three airports around London - Gatwick, Luton and Stansted.

It pulled out of Southend Airport in 2021.
