Witness appeal after van driver dies in crash

A man in his 40s has died after a van and a car crashed near Northampton.

Police are seeking witnesses to the crash, which happened on the A4500 Flore bypass at about 12:30 GMT on Wednesday.

The driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter van collided with a white Mercedes X-Class and died at the scene, police said.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision or may have dash-cam footage that could help their investigation.

The Flore bypass in Northamptonshire will be closed overnight from 4 to 19 August.
