Wife accused of murdering husband to face retrial

A woman accused of murdering her husband is set to face a re-trial.

David Berman, 84, was found dead at the house in Butterstile Lane, Prestwich, in March.

His wife, Daryl Berman, 71, stood trial for murdering him at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester.

However, he judge ordered a retrial as the jury could not reach a verdict. It has been scheduled for 22 June.
