Ram raiders attacked the Co-op store on Church Street in Billinghay at about 02:00 GMT on Friday

Police are appealing for information about a ram raid on a shop in a Lincolnshire village.

Thieves attacked the Co-op store on Church Street in Billinghay at about 02:00 GMT on Friday.

The vehicle used was found abandoned at the scene with the suspects escaping in a dark-coloured SUV, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force added that "inquiries are still ongoing to determine what was taken".

Investigators are appealing for information on the getaway car as well as any witnesses or video footage of the incident.
