Kane Haynes, 26, was jailed at Cambridge Crown Court

A 26-year-old drug dealer has been jailed for two years and six months after he admitted to supplying crack cocaine and heroin.

Kane Haynes was stopped by Cambridgeshire Police officers in Woodston, Peterborough, on 28 October and was arrested and his phone seized.

Analysis of phones linked to Haynes showed they had been used to send out bulk messages regarding the sale of heroin and crack cocaine.

Haynes, of Market Deeping, in Lincolnshire, was jailed at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday.

DC Tom Corbett said: "Although no Class A drugs were recovered, it was clear from phone evidence that Haynes was involved in supplying these substances.

"Crack cocaine and heroin ruin lives by trapping people in addiction and can cause misery for communities with associated anti-social behaviour and crime."
