Pair charged over man's death after incident in Inverness
BBCTwo men have been charged over a man's death after an incident on a street in Inverness.
Emergency services attended after three men were reported injured outside a property on Balloan Road at about 08:25 on Friday.
Two of the men were taken to hospital by ambulance, while the other made his own way to hospital. One man was pronounced dead on arrival.
The two surviving men, aged 38 and 21, were discharged after being treated for minor injuries and were later arrested over the incident.
Police Scotland said the men would appear at Inverness Sheriff Court at a later date.
Det Ch Insp John Lumsden said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time.
"Officers continue to carry out extensive inquiries at this time so there will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days.
