Driver, 79, killed in two-car crash
GoogleA 79-year-old man has died after his car was involved in a crash with another vehicle in Perthshire.
The man, who was driving a Green Citroen C4, was pronounced dead at the scene of the smash on Brown Street in Blairgowrie.
The driver of the other vehicle, a white Kia Ceed, was not injured in the incident which happened at about 13:55 on Friday.
Police Scotland has appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
Sgt Iain Macnamara said "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in this crash.
"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what occurred and I am appealing to anyone who has information to come forward.
"If anyone saw the Green Citroen C4 in the area around the time of the collision, please contact us."
