In pictures: Thousands attend Royal Cornwall Show

More than 117,000 people visited the show in 2024, and, despite the drizzly wet weather, thousands showed up to the 2025 event

The 2025 Royal Cornwall Show will come to an end later, after attracting thousands of people since it opened on Thursday.

Every year, for three days in June, organisers say they "bring the best in entertainment, agriculture, shopping and competition".

This year, visitors to the popular show included The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Edinburgh.

The event opens at 08:30 BST and shuts at 18:30 each day, with tickets bought online, on the gate or at the show office

The wet weather did not dampen the spirits of visitors

The show has roots that go back to 1793 when the Cornwall Agricultural Society was formed and a ploughing match was held near Truro
