Man charged over fatal shooting in Motherwell

A 58-year-old man has been charged after a man was shot dead at his home in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire.

Jordan Gray, 26, was fatally injured in the town's Shields Court shortly after 22:30 on 14 December last year.

The suspect was arrested in the Muirhouse Road area of Motherwell at about 06:45 on Tuesday.

He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
