Man arrested over fatal shooting in Motherwell

A 58-year-old man has been arrested after a man was shot dead at his home in Motherwell.

Jordan Gray, 26, suffered fatal firearms injuries in the town's Shields Court shortly after 22:30 on 14 December last year.

The man was arrested by officers, acting on warrants, in the Muirhouse Road area of Motherwell at about 06:45 on Tuesday.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.
