Appeal for vigilance after break-ins and car theft
BBCResidents living in part of Kirklees have been urged by police to be vigilant and report suspicious activity after a series of break-ins and a car theft.
Incidents were reported to have taken place on High Ash Avenue, Moorlands View, Vinery Close and Ings Mill Avenue in Clayton West on Monday 15 December, according to West Yorkshire Police.
While nothing was taken in those break-ins, a car was stolen from a property on Whinmoor Drive in another incident.
All the break-ins took place between 01:30 GMT and 03:30 GMT, and residents have been urged to check CCTV for any footage of people behaving suspiciously between those times.
Anyone who was out and about in those areas during that period and who saw suspicious activity was also asked to get in touch with police.
