Anyone parking for more than 24 hours will automatically receive savings, Guernsey Ports say

Long-stay parking charges at an airport have been cut to "make on-site parking easier and more convenient", bosses have said.

The scheme at Guernsey Airport would run from 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026 and the promotion would be applied automatically to anyone parking for more than 24 hours, Guernsey Ports said.

It added discounts ranged from 25%, or £30, for two days, to 40% for five days, £54, or more.

David Buddery, commercial development project manager for Guernsey Ports, said "on-site parking takes the hassle out of travel, and these discounted rates provide a smart way to save some extra money towards your trip".

Mr Buddery said: "We know winter travel can be stressful, so we wanted to make on-site parking even easier and more convenient at a lower price."

He said the offer followed a summer trial that showed bigger discounts on long-stay parking would have a limited impact on airport revenues, because long-stay parking only represented a small percentage of overall car park usage.
