Biking champions: Two rising stars from the Forest of Dean have returned home as newly crowned national champions after racing at the Lloyds National Downhill Championships. Frankie Windebank and Cooper Cassells stormed to victory in their Youth categories (15–16 years), despite it being their first year racing at that level.

Getting green: Young eco-champions across the Forest of Dean are celebrating after eight local schools achieved the Eco-Schools Green Flag. The schools earned the award by completing the Eco-Schools' seven-step programme, where pupils lead real change through projects focused on sustainability, climate awareness, and biodiversity.
