Man, 26, shot dead in car near Euston station

Police are investigating the killing of a man in Chalton Street, near Euston station

A 26-year-old man has been shot dead while sitting in a car near London's Euston station.

Police said CCTV showed he was shot at several times by a suspect who arrived and left on a bike on Saturday night.

The man died at the scene in Chalton Street in north London, despite the efforts of paramedics to save his life.

Detectives has begun a murder investigation and no arrests have so far been made.

The victim was attacked while sitting in a white Nissan Juke and police were called to the scene at about 22:30.

The man's next of kin have been informed.
