Cash machine stolen after ram raid incident

Police officers have been attending an incident where a cash machine was stolen following a ram raid.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary was called to the scene at the Spar on Broadway, Yaxley, Peterborough, at about 04:20 BST on Monday.

A cash machine had been stolen from outside the shop which also operates a Post Office. The frontage of the shop was also damaged.

Police said the investigation into the incident was ongoing and a police cordon remained at the scene.

Members of the public have been asked to contact the force if they have any information.
