Venue in Little Horton could be converted from a pub to a restaurant

A former pub could be converted into a restaurant if plans are given the go-ahead.

A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council to change the use of Venue in Little Horton from a public house to a restaurant.

The building is located at the junction of Park Lane, Park Road and Little Horton Lane and is thought to have been empty for several years.

Work to convert the site would include new frontage, signage and replacing the existing fencing at the front entrance to a glass balustrade.

The restaurant would not be licensed to serve alcohol, according to the application from Azizam Restaurant Ltd.

The venue, located within the Little Horton Conservation area, would also be eat-in only, it added.

The council is expected to decide on the application in the coming months.
