Easter Daze sessions will return to North Lincolnshire pools for a third year

Children will be able to enjoy free swimming at pools in North Lincolnshire during the Easter holidays.

Easter Daze sessions will be held at leisure centres in Brigg, Crowle, Barton-upon-Humber, Epworth and Scunthorpe.

North Lincolnshire Council said the scheme would return for a third year following "huge demand from families".

Free entry will be available to under-16s between 3 April and 20 April. Those aged eight to 16 must book online in advance, while children under eight can turn up on the day with a parent or guardian.

A number of free family swim sessions will also be available.

Councillor Carl Sherwood said: "School holidays can be busy and expensive for parents, so giving children the chance to swim for free is a great way to keep them active, have fun with friends and spend time together as a family."

Session times and booking information will be available on local pool timetables, according to the council.
