A 32-year-old man has been arrested following a double stabbing in a Lincolnshire village.

Lincolnshire Police said officers responded to reports of an assault at a property on Fallow Croft, Saxilby, at about 01:40 GMT.

Two people suffered serious injuries from stab wounds and were taken to hospital, the force said.

Officers said the man remained in custody for questioning in connection with the incident.
