Michael Harvey admitted on a separate charge to engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour

A former Lancashire Police officer has been cleared of three counts of rape, a jury has heard.

Michael Harvey, 64, was found not guilty of raping the woman a decade ago, after a trial at Preston Crown Court.

On a separate charge, Harvey, of Skelmersdale, has pleaded guilty to two counts of causing a computer to perform a function to secure/enable unauthorised access to a programme/data.

He also pleaded guilty to engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour. He was given conditional bail and is due to be sentenced at the same court on 5 February.
