Seven arrested after alleged cannabis farm discovered in old school
GoogleSeven people have been arrested following the discovery of an alleged cannabis farm inside the former Wick High School in Caithness.
Police Scotland said officers executed a warrant on Thursday.
Two men aged 23 along with four other men aged 27, 35, 44 and 46 and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested.
The school in Wick has been empty since 2017 when the secondary moved to a new location with modern facilities.
A police spokesperson said: "Inquiries are ongoing and there will be a continued police presence in the area.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0947 of 27 January, 2026."
