Telehandler used to steal Sainsbury's cash machine
Liam MillerSignificant damage has been caused to a Sainsbury's shop front as a telehandler was used to steal a cash machine.
Thames Valley Police said it was investigating a burglary after the construction/agricultural vehicle was used to smash into the supermarket chain's Local store in Brooklands Square, Milton Keynes.
The force said it happened at about 00:50 GMT on Sunday and there was a "scene watch" in place and an increased police presence in the area.
It said it was appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information including CCTV or video of the incident.
Nicola Haseler/BBCVideo circulating on social media appears to show the cash machine being lifted by a telehandler and loaded on to another vehicle, which then leaves the square at speed.
