Child bodyboarder rescued from sea
Gareth Fuller/PA WireA 10-year-old child has been rescued from the sea after they got into difficulty while bodyboarding, rescuers have said.
Eddie Robinson, from Falmouth Coastguard, said Penlee lifeboat, Penzance and Porthleven rescue teams and the coastguard helicopter were called to help the child who was in difficulty at Praa Sands, Cornwall, at about 13:00 GMT on Tuesday.
"Two members of the public actually went into the water and helped this person out," he said. Robinson added they were "safe and well".
In a post on social media, Penlee Lifeboat said the child was checked by paramedics and taken to hospital by ambulance.
