A car ended up in a ditch in Pevensey after it left the road, Sussex Police have said.

Officers said it was a minor single‑vehicle collision and no injuries were reported.

No arrests were made and recovery was arranged at the scene, a police spokeswoman said.

Photographs show the black car standing in shallow water near a broken fence with its bonnet open, following the crash close to a bridge over a channel at about 11:15 GMT.
