Sound and light show to take over Beverley Minster
LuxmuralisHistoric works of art are being projected on the inside of a nearly 800-year-old minster.
The sound and light show at Beverley Minster was created by Luxmuralis and runs until Sunday.
Organisers said it would showcase four centuries of art by projecting images onto the walls.
It is the first time the event has been held in Yorkshire.
LuxmuralisThe show, called Illuminating Art, features works from artists including Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne and Renoir as well as early photography and animations.
LuxmuralisPeter Walker, artistic director, said: "It is wonderful to be bringing Illuminating Art to the Minster, one of the most beautiful buildings in the country.
"Visitors to our artwork can choose how they want to experience the exhibition, either basking in glorious images and sound or digging a little deeper and contemplating the big ideas."
Illuminating Art runs until Saturday 17 February.
