Darren Richardson was found guilty of 11 sexual offences

A man who sexually abused multiple children has been jailed for 11 years.

Darren Richardson, 58, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, denied the charges against him but was found guilty of 11 sexual offences following a two-week trial at Hull Crown Court.

The jury found him guilty of two counts of gross indecency with a boy under the age of 14, two counts of gross indecency with a boy under 16, and three counts of indecent assault on a boy under 14.

He was also found guilty of two counts of assault on a girl under 13 by touching, assaulting a boy under 13 by touching, and sexual assault of a woman.

During his sentencing on Friday, Richardson was told he would be on the sex offenders register for life.
