Police are seeking a driver following a hit-and-run crash on a dual carriageway in Cheshire.

The incident involved a van and motorcycle at the A500 Shavington bypass at the roundabout for David Whitby Way, Weston, at 18:22 GMT on Thursday.

The van failed to stop at the scene and the motorcyclist was believed to have suffered serious injuries, said Cheshire Police.

The force is urging anyone with information to contact officers via the 101 service.
