Man jailed for stabbing after trial

Google StreetviewA man has been jailed following a stabbing in Leicester.
Leicestershire Police said it was called to Danvers Road by East Midlands Ambulance Service at 10:25 BST on 17 August after a man in his 20s was taken to hospital.
Lonel Cutitaru, of Danvers Road, was initially charged with attempted murder but after a trial at Leicester Crown Court, on Monday Cutitaru was jailed for seven years and six months after being found guilty of an alternative offence of wounding with intent.
The 49-year-old must also pay a £228 victim surcharge.
