A 91-year-old woman who died more than two months after being found seriously injured at a property in Rotherham has been named.

Elizabeth Clark, better known as Betty, died in hospital on Wednesday, having been admitted on 11 September after she was found injured at a home in Peveril Close, Kiveton Park.

South Yorkshire Police said an investigation had been launched into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Det Insp Adam Watkinson said: "We are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have seen something that didn't look right on Wednesday 10 or Thursday 11 September around the Kiveton Park area."
