Football clubs suspend supporters after mass brawl
OtherTwo football clubs have suspended supporters who they said were involved in violence at a match on Saturday.
Police were called when fighting broke out at the non-league match between Bilston Town FC and Droylsden FC in Wolverhampton, but no arrests were made.
In a joint statement, the clubs said they were aware of videos circulating on social media and were carrying out their own investigations, as well as working with police and the Football Association.
A spokesperson said the suspensions for fans would remain in place until those investigations finished.
"We do not and will not ever tolerate, condone or excuse disorder of any kind, either verbal or physical," they added.
Police officers said they were called to Bilston Town FC's Queen Street ground after reports of people being attacked at about 17:00 GMT.
Footage on social media appeared to show brawling and violent scenes during the FA Vase tie.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We are working to establish the full facts and will be contacting the victims to get full statements and will be reviewing mobile phone and CCTV footage."
