Grizedale Stages Rally was called off in 2024 after Storm Darragh caused damage to the area
About 90 cars will be taking part across six stages

Hundreds of motorsport enthusiasts are expected at a motor rally after last year's event was cancelled.

Grizedale Stages Rally will return to Grizedale Forest, Ambleside, later after 2024's event was called off when Storm Darragh caused damage to the area.

Organisers urged those without a ticket not to attend because car park spaces had sold out, advising people to park responsibly.

Forestry England said all trails in the area would be closed apart from the Stick Man and the Gruffalo trails.

The organisers asked people to not park their cars on verges, avoid blocking gates or rights of way.

Forestry England also asked those not spectating to use the Kennels car park.

About 90 cars will be taking part across six stages with various championships being run including the BTRDA, ANECCC SG Petch, English, Scottish and MG3.
