Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a recycling plant in Nottingham.

Crews were called to reports of a fire at the site, in Alcester Street, Dunkirk, shortly after 04:20 BST on Sunday.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was reducing the number of firefighters at the blaze shortly after 09:00 BST, but added four engines would remain there for "the next few hours at least".

It also asked people to avoid the area while it continued to tackle the fire.
