Murder arrest after man dies at railway station
BBCA man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died at a railway station.
Dylan Fitzpatrick, 28, was found unresponsive at Tamworth railway station's car park in the early hours of Sunday.
British Transport Police (BTP) said he was treated for serious injuries "consistent with being struck by a vehicle" but died at the scene.
The arrested man, a 27-year-old from Birmingham, was detained in the Sutton Coldfield area of the city on Monday, a BTP spokesperson confirmed.
A woman, 28, who was arrested shortly after the incident has since been released with no further action.
Det Insp Marvin Bruno said the man's arrest marked a "significant step" in the investigation into the death of Fitzpatrick, who was from Birmingham.
Officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, he added, and the family of the deceased were being supported by specialist officers.
