Officers want to speak with this man in connection with the theft

Police investigating the theft of a hedgehog statue from an art gallery have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

Lincolnshire Police said the bronze statue was taken from the Gladwell & Patterson Art Gallery, in Stamford, on 8 August.

The force said a man was "believed to have concealed the statue in his trousers and left the store, while making no effort to pay".

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
