Man arrested after stabbing in city street

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 20s was stabbed in the West Midlands.

Police were called to Middlemist Grove, Great Barr, at about 01:45 BST on Saturday.

The victim arrived at hospital with serious injuries a short time afterwards.

The man, aged 18, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
