A BMW crashed into the front of a New Look shop.

It happened just before 20:00 GMT on Tuesday night at Smallgate in Beccles town centre.

Suffolk Police said it caused significant damage to the storefront. Pictures show the BMW, its lights still on, embedded in the window display, with a mannequin on the glass-strewn pavement beside it.

Officers are trying to identify the driver, who they said fled the scene. Structural engineers have been assessing the building, a force spokesperson said.
