Witness appeal as woman dies after fall from car

Witness have been asked by police to come forward

Police are investigating the death of a woman in her 80s from injuries she suffered when she fell out of a car.

The woman fell from the silver Vauxhall Mokka in Hectorage Road, Tonbridge, at about 17:30 GMT on Tuesday.

Kent Police said that as an SUV moved off, the backseat passenger fell from the vehicle and on to the road.

The woman suffered serious injuries and went to hospital where she later died, police added.

A police spokesperson said there were no reports of other vehicles involved in the incident.

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
