Registration opens for seaside 5k fun run
East Riding of Yorkshire CouncilRegistration has opened for an annual race along the East Yorkshire coast.
The Bridlington Beach 5km and Fun Run will take place on 5 July.
It covers a route from South Beach along the sands with many participants wearing fancy dress.
The entry fee is £15 and runners will get a T-shirt, water bottle and medal.
Councillor Nick Coultish, East Riding of Yorkshire Council's cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism, said the race was "suitable for all ages and abilities".
"We are thrilled to welcome back the Bridlington Beach 5km and Fun Run after a successful first four years," he said.
"With the New Year inspiring many to begin their Couch to 5K journey, we're calling on all new runners and resolution makers to come and give it a go.
''Whether you're an active runner or just looking to spectate along our beautiful coastline, we encourage everyone to participate and come together in this celebration of fitness and fun."
