Man pleads guilty to having weapons stash

BBCA man has pleaded guilty to possessing an air rifle, a samurai sword, a knuckle duster and four telescopic truncheons.
Maximin Carter, 51, from Neath Port Talbot, was initially arrested on suspicion of attempting to make an explosive after police were called to a house in Commercial Street, Abergwynfi, on 14 February.
Police said residents were evacuated from their homes for safety reasons and a "significant" number of weapons were found.
Carter pleaded guilty at Swansea Crown Court to possessing a banned weapon under the Firearms Act 1968 and six counts possessing of offensive weapon. He was remanded to Swansea Prison and will be sentenced on 7 April.
