Multiple arrests after man robbed outside steakhouse

Seven men have been arrested after a man was injured in a robbery outside a steakhouse.

The victim stopped officers at 02:20 GMT on Friday on College Road in Cheltenham, saying a gang had assaulted and robbed him, Gloucestershire Police said.

He told officers that a group of men punched him in the face and demanded he hand over his phone and wallet near Sef's Steakhouse.

Following a search, all of the suspects were located and arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and robbery. They have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
