Two drivers are killed in car crash on main road

Two drivers have died following a car crash that closed a main road on Saturday.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to a collision on the A370 at Yanley on Saturday at 19:45 GMT.

Emergency workers were unable to save the drivers. Both families have been informed.

An investigation has been launched. The road remains closed between Colliters Way Roundabout and the junction with B3130 Barrow Street while inquiries continue, police said.

Two other vehicles were involved in the collision, but no one in them was seriously hurt.
