Two seriously hurt after two-car town centre crash

Two people have been seriously injured after a crash between two cars in a town centre.

Northamptonshire Police said it was called to Horse Market in Northampton at about 00:40 GMT following a collision between a white Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Audi A4.

Two passengers in the Vauxhall were taken to hospital with serious injuries, while its driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for several hours but has now fully reopened. Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101.
